This set is made from carved black horn. It is almost solid black and for a long time I thought it was some kind of early plastic. Good sunlight and a magnifying glass showed it's true colors, with slight variations and porousness in places.

Earrings are clip on with a very modern design of the clips. Chain is 26 inches long and pendant part is 5 inches. the earrings measure 7/8 inch diameter. No clasp, necklace slips over head.

Condition is excellent. No chips, very little fading of gold plating on jump rings.

Condition should be mainly judged from photos. Please utilize the zoom tool. I try to list any flaws, but occasionally, I overlook or miss something. Please convo me if you feel the photos or my description do not tell you what you want to know.

Vintage modern Austro-Hungarian silver large chain link choker necklace with smaller chain link sides and back. The necklace is 17 1/8” long and stamped with the Austrian Hungarian silver mark. The mark is worn and difficult to photograph because it is so small. This is silver but can't verify the purity. The large chain link is hollow measuring 9 3/16” long. Each link is 7/8” long and 11/16” wide. The narrower chain has alternating textured links and is 5/16” wide. This weighs 67.5 grams. There are some surface scratches and a few small dents in the larger links. Please see all the photos.

Part of my Mens jewelry collection. Heavily oxidized (blackened) sterling silver chainmaille cross on leather for men of all ages who love rugged yet clean design.

This is a masculine piece of jewelry for everyday apparel or a special occasion. Each hefty, 18 gauge sterling silver ring is hand coiled, hand cut, and polished smooth before weaving into a sterling silver cross. The cross is then heavily oxidized and again polished to a high shine. The pendant is threaded with double stranded black leather cord and fastens with a sterling silver lobster clasp.

Leather cord: ~ 19 inches (~ 48 cm)
Cross: ~ 1.5x1 inches (4x2.5 cm)

The leather cord can be made longer or shorter to match your preferences.

Chain maille is an ancient art of weaving together individual rings to create simple and elegant jewellery. This chain takes a long time to make and uses a lot of Silver. The rings being linked together one at a time with two pairs of pliers, each ring being linked into six others! (Full Persian chainmaille wave)!
