This is a large and excitingly sculptural modernist ring from Scandinavia, but the origin is a bit of a mystery. This may be the result of someone marrying the top of the ring to the band of a second ring.
I've seen the top design described as being by Paul Havgaard for Lapponia, and it has Lapponia marks. The band has the marks of Isaac Cohen of Galerie 22 in Stockholm.
The ring has an interesting organic dome shape with a cave-like indentation. Ring is made of two types of silver. The top is Sterling Silver and the band is 830 silver (see marks).
Quite an eye-catcher!
