Solid, heavy, sterling silver jewelry set. Necklace, bracelet and earrings. "Tundra series". Regine Juhls, Juhls Silver Gallery, Kautokeino, Norway, developed from 1960s. This set is probably made in the 1970 s.

Only the bracelet is marked: KAUTOKEINO JUHLS 925 S (=sterling silver) Last stamp is a letter that shows which artisan/craftsman at Juhl's Silver Gallery made this special piece. After about mid-1980 s, this last marking was dropped.

Bracelet:
Length: ca 18 cm/ 7.08 inches (when locked).
Width: 37 mm/1,45 inches.
Weight: 127,8 grams.

Necklace:
Length: ca 45 cm/17.71 inches.
Then pendant/drop is: 105 mm/4.13 inches high and 53 mm/2.08 inches wide.
Weight: 97,8 grams.

Earrings (dangle and for pierced ears):
Length: ca 90 mm/3.54 inches.
Width: ca 10 mm/0.39 inches.
Weight: 17,4 grams.
They are long and narrow.

Please note the size. The necklace and the bracelet are among the heaviest and largest pieces in the Tundra-collection by Juhls.

Very good pre-owned condition. Light surface wear. No damage. Slightly tarnished.
The bracelet has a well functioning box-lock and the necklace a solid and secure lobster claw clasp.

A magnificent set of jewelry. The dangling "bowls" of the pendant reflect the light. The necklace is not very often for sale, and to be able to offer a set of three Tundra-pieces is a rare opportunity.

Nature-inspired design. The Tundra Collection has a distinctive beauty, inspired by the short summers and special vegetation on Finnmarksvidda (Norway). This area, located far above the Arctic Circle, is covered by snow for eight months, but in the short summers the plateau is in bloom.

Regine (b. 1939 in Germany) and Frank (b. 1931 in Denmark) Juhls established their jewelry workshop in Kautokeino, in the most northern part of Norway, in 1959.

The "Tundra series" is a collection of exclusive modern jewelry inspired by the landscape of the arctic. It has been internationally acknowledged and described as modern icons . Regine Juhls started developing this collection just after the couple had settled in Kautokeino.

Juhls Silver Gallery is still run by the family Juhls and is now led by Sunniva Juhls, Regine and Frank´s daughter.

Shipment with tracking and insurance included.
