Vintage c. 1990s ring by the exhibited and award-winning South African jeweler Peter Cullman (now of Toronto). According to the artist, this is one of several he made in the late 90s as part of a series of one-of-a-kind sterling rings utilizing cylinders and cones (I will forward the buyer my correspondence with Mr. Cullman about this ring). This example features a tall conical form in textured sterling silver. The top is a bezel set pink moonstone cabochon. This dimensional structure is set on a tapering silver band, each shoulder of which is decorated with a pair of applied 18K yellow gold beads. Cullman’s work rarely turns up on the market. This is a OOAK addition to your studio jewelry collection. Please note that the craftsmanship is exceptional.

Excellent, but please note (and view in photos) that there are 2 lines in the moonstone--I am not sure if these are original to the stone or not. As they are parallel and of the same size, they almost look like part of the design, but am uncertain.
